Texas A&M University Maritime cadets are anchored among history
As the United States of America celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, cadets from the Texas A&M University Maritime Academy and Maine Maritime Academy witnessed history from the shadow of the Statue of Liberty on the 4th of July during the Sail250 event.
The Association of Former Students provides over $100,000 annually to the Corps of Cadets to support programs and units, including ROTC, Ross Volunteers, Parsons Mounted Cavalry, Fish Drill Team and the Corps of Cadets Visitors Center.
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences received more than $93,000 in Association support in FY25. This support enabled an investment in students’ future instruction by recruiting faculty. Association support also went to the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy Internship Program, giving 17 students real-world experience in the national legislative process in the summer of 2025.

The Association of Former Students helps former students maintain their ties to Texas A&M and to each other through a number of programs aimed at helping Aggies reconnect with Texas A&M. Among these are A&M Clubs, Class activities and Constituent Networks.
The Association of Former Students fuels the Aggie Spirit through scholarships and emergency assistance for students, A&M Clubs and events for former students and dogged support of essential Aggie traditions. But we can only do that with your help. Add your support so we can do even more.
