Pursuing her passion for fashion, Mechatronics student Aarathi Devakumar ’28 continues to advance her innovative take on wearable robotics. This spring, she competed in StarkHacks, billed as the world’s largest hardware hackathon, presented by AMD and cohosted by Ford Motor Company at Purdue University. Aarathi and her intercollegiate, interdisciplinary team, "Panic! At the Wrist," designed a fashionable bracelet cuff that combines drowsiness detection and emergency alerts for the wearer.
