Thank you to the Houston Chronicle for documenting the amazing work coming out of the Aerospace Human Systems Laboratory led by Dr. Bonnie J. Dunbar using a recently acquired human centrifuge. 

Dr. Dunbar said the studies from this lab will help scientists better understand how the human body responds to lower gravity environments in preparation for future space travel.

Engineering Student lands dream opportunity through a shot in the dark

#TAMUcsce senior Anisha Menezes has received an Astronaut Scholarship! 

The Astronaut Scholarship is awarded to juniors and seniors in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields and is one of the largest merit-based scholarships for undergraduates. In 2026, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation awarded 79 scholarships to exceptional students across the nation who show initiative and creativity in their chosen field.
