In 2025, more than 200 law school students were joined by family and friends to  celebrate one of Texas A&M’s most cherished traditions, Aggie Ring Day — marking a  milestone that connects them to Aggies around the world. 

In addition to the student-run ceremony at Reed Arena, more than 250 Musters are held around the world each year. The Association of Former Students assists A&M Clubs and Muster groups by providing planning guides and offering support with videos and music, speaker identification, invitations and publicity, as well as a Roll tailored specifically to their area. 

Nearly $60,000 in Association funding supported departments in the College of Arts and  Sciences in 2025, assisting in recruiting faculty and students, professional development  opportunities and research support. 

A sterling green space at Texas A&M University, Aggie Park quickly became the heart of  life on campus after opening in 2022. Envisioned and developed by The Association of  Former Students, it was funded by private donations and was a gift to be used by the  entire Aggie Network 365 days a year. 

Transfer Camp and SALT Camp are the two Aggie orientation camps that prepare incoming transfer students and students to the Galveston campus for life as an Aggie. The Association supports scholarships for students to attend T-Camp and SALT Camp, and other needs.  

The Association of Former Students provides over $60,000 annually to the Career Center, which allows them to offer former students complimentary services that include career consultations, guidance for effective networking, online career assessments, and advice on resume writing, job interviewing and salary negotiation. 

$80,000 in funds received from The Association of Former Students allowed Texas A&M  Engineering to direct funding to a unique and high impact initiative – the Engineering  Hagler Fellows, enabling Texas A&M to recruit and retain outstanding faculty- researchers.

By providing print materials, meeting space and other support for Fish Camp, The Association of Former Students helps thousands of incoming Aggies begin their Texas A&M journey with a stronger connection to Aggie traditions, values and Classmates.  

$10,000 provided by The Association of Former Students enabled the College of  Dentistry to award five student scholarships, alleviating the burden of debt and allowing  students to focus on their studies and future careers in dentistry.

The Association provides gifts that support free, peer-led tutoring through the Academic Success Center. In the 2024-25 school year, nearly 11,000 students were impacted by  this support. 

Three times a year, The Association of Former Students hosts thousands of Aggies, family and friends for Aggie Ring Day at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Aggie Ring Day, which was envisioned and created by The Association, is one of the most anticipated events of an Aggie’s academic career when they receive the most visible symbol of the Aggie Network: the Aggie Ring. The Association also financially supports Aggie Ring delivery at the School of Law and the Higher Education Center at McAllen. 

The Association of Former Students and its Class Programs team works with Class Agents each year to organize and promote the 50th Anniversary Reunion, as well as other formal Reunions. The Association also manages and supports other Class-sponsored activities, Class newsletters and Class gifts.
